The Friends of Bowness-on-Solway School
Formerly the Parents' Association, the Friends of Bowness-on-Solway School provide opportunities for members of our community (parents, carers, local residents and businesses) to get involved with school life! If you have a child in school, you are automatically a member. The Friends very much welcome attendance from all at meetings, where you can have a voice and make a contribution to events which positively impact our children and community.
Whilst the work of the Friends is vital when it comes to fundraising activities, it does not stop there. The events are hugely successful at bringing together our community, supporting our school to be at the centre of things in Bowness.
Examples of recent or upcoming activities include the fayre, movie night and chocolate bingo, to name just three!
